Office Address:
100B Danbury Rd, Ridgefield, CT—
Please enter through the door that says:
100B MAIN ENTRANCE, STE 201A
At Your Appointment:
If this is your first visit, I like to take the time to get to know you: your background and health history, as well as your goals for what you want to get out of acupuncture.
You will then lie down on the most comfortable table ever, complete with a heated mattress pad underneath, and then you will have your acupuncture treatment. It will feel like the best nap in the world!
Ideally, it’s best to wear loose clothing, but no worries if you’re coming straight from work.
How Long Does an Appointment Last?
The first appointment is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Follow up appointments will be around 45/ 50 minutes.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
This will depend upon what we are treating and how long you have had the condition. If it is an acute condition, it might take a few treatments (4-6) to resolve. If it is a chronic condition, it can take longer. For example, if you have suffered from back pain for 5 years, it is going to take longer than a few treatments.
However, do not despair!
A little patience, and perhaps incorporating other modes of healing; like gentle yoga, stretching, or lifestyle changes, you can reach a life with reduced, or even eliminated pain.
Acupuncture is cumulative. It builds and heals the body from within over time. Another way to describe it: It activates your body to heal itself. You have an immune system, and other systems to heal your own body. And sometimes you just need a little help in the healing process-
This is when acupuncture comes in!
