TESTIMONIAL

"Judith has a quality in her that is like no other. She respects and truly cares about her patients in all aspects. She is so easy to talk to and listens whole heartedly to what the issues are at hand. Her voice is soothing, her presence is calming, her treatments are professional and definitely healing. Judith is the only person that has healed my son's football injury and we tried every route there was."

Reducing Stress
and Easing Anxiety in Teens

Teens face a tremendous amount of pressure, which unfortuntely seeps into every aspect of their lives: the stress to get good grades, to take AP courses, to achieve athletically, to fit in socially, to get into a good college, to figure out what comes next, to name only a few.
Acupuncture reduces stress by calming our fight or flight system, and activates the good chemicals in the body, such as endorphins and serotonin. The result is a reduction in stress, and the ability to navigate more easily through the difficult times.

Rewards and Building Confidence

Have you ever wondered why athletes such as famous swimmers, and basketball players get cupping and acupuncture on a regular basis?
Unbeknownst to many who haven’t tried acupuncture, this traditional medicine will enhance your performance, and give you an “edge”, so that you will perform at your best. In Athletics, it helps both your body and your mind to perform at peak level.
You are more likely to win that swim meet, or ace your exam. This is because acupuncture treats the whole individual. It will treat your sore knee and sharpen your senses and help you make that goal!

You will then lie down on the most comfortable table ever, complete with a heated mattress pad underneath, and then you will have your acupuncture treatment. It will feel like the best nap in the world!

Ideally, it’s best to wear loose clothing, but no worries if you’re coming straight from work.

How Long Does an Appointment Last?

The first appointment is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Follow up appointments will be around 45/ 50 minutes.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

This will depend upon what we are treating and how long you have had the condition. If it is an acute condition, it might take a few treatments 4-6) to resolve. If it is a chronic condition, it can take longer. For example, if you have suffered from back pain for 5 years, or have a chronic issue, it is going to take longer than a few treatments.

However, do not despair!
A little patience, and perhaps incorporating other modes of healing, can help you reach your goals.

Acupuncture is cumulative. It builds and heals the body from within over time. Another way to describe it: It activates your body to heal itself. You have an immune system, and other systems to heal your own body. And sometimes you just need a little help in the process-
This is where acupuncture comes in!
