  • Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves the insertion of thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate and balance the flow of energy, or "qi" (pronounced "chee"). This modality is based on the belief that health is maintained by the harmonious flow of qi along pathways called meridians. By targeting certain acupuncture points, practitioners aim to restore balance, alleviate pain, enhance overall well-being, and support the body's natural healing processes.

  • Sports medicine acupuncture is a specialized approach that integrates traditional acupuncture techniques with modern sports therapy to enhance athletic performance and expedite recovery from injuries. SPA helps alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility, allowing athletes to restore their physical function more efficiently. Additionally, SMA enhances performance ability, thereby enabling the individual to maintain greater focus and motivation during training and competitions.

  • Electroacupuncture is used in acupuncture treatments to additionally reduce pain, and inflammation. A small electrode is attached to the needles—
The patient will often feel a little tapping, or slight vibration. It is used often with acupuncture treatments. It is extremely effective and safe!
